Our unique capture method

Before you buy a CO2 Boosted Trap
It's important to do some extra research. It's been scientifically tested and proven that CO2 boosted traps are 400% more effective at catching mosquitoes and blood-seeking insects including nasty biting midges. But there are added expenses to using CO2 that you need to consider when you invest in a Biogents system.
Things to consider
Getting a CO2 Tank
We do not provide the CO2 tanks. They must be acquired separately and refilled regularly.
- There are several companies local and national that can provide tank refill services such as AirGas, drink retailers, welding, or brewing suppliers.
- A door-to-door delivery service may also be available in some locations.
CO2 Tank Costs
We have proven that CO2 is valuable as an effective attractant, but we don't want you to be surprised by additional costs.
- Depending on where you source your CO2, you may have to purchase a new tank and pay to have it refilled.
- Costs can vary from city to city.
- Please locate and get costs before you buy your trap system.
CO2 Tank Size
We suggest a minimum size CO2 tank 20 lbs. bottles which are also used in pubs and restaurants as a CO2 source.
- A bottle can last for 2-6 weeks depending on the flow rate used.
- Under most circumstances, we recommend a flow rate of 1 lb/ day.
- The flow rates correspond to the rate that is released by a small child.
