How many times do I need to refill the mosquito attractant?
One BG-Sweetscent sachet in the BG-Mosquitaire or BG-Home mosquito trap is effective for up to two months. After that, it should be replaced. BG-Sweetscents are also available as a season pack for six months (3 sachets). Save money with the season pack.
Why does the attractant smell bad?
The Biogents suction trap uses a patented scent dispenser that releases an artificial human skin scent, attracting mosquitoes. The scent is strongest in the first three days after opening and reaches optimal levels after that, then stabilizes at a reduced, constant release.For BG-Home users, the initial scent of BG-Sweetscent may be too strong indoors. If so, place the sachets outdoors for 2-3 days to let the scent fade, and use the trap without the mosquito attractant in the meantime.
Can I use the BG-Sweetscent for the BG-Mosquitaire and the BG-Home?
Yes. The BG-Sweetscent is suitable for the BG-Mosquitaire and the BG-Home. It is also suitable for mosquito traps from other manufacturers.
