The sachet contains a patented formulation based on lactic acid developed by Biogents and mimics human skin scents.

The BG-Sweetscent can be placed inside the trap, on top, or under the roof depending on what trap model is used.

FAQs

How many times do I need to refill during the season when using BG-Sweetscent?

One BG-Sweetscent sachet in the BG-Mosquitaire or BG-Home trap is effective for up to two months. After that, it should be replaced. BG-Sweetscents are also available as a season pack for six months (3 sachets).

Why does the attractant smell bad?

The Biogents suction trap uses a patented scent dispenser that releases an artificial human skin scent, attracting mosquitoes. The scent is strongest in the first three days after opening and reaches optimal levels after that, then stabilizes at a lower, constant release.

For BG-Home users, the initial scent of BG-Sweetscent may be too strong indoors. If so, place the sachets outdoors for 2-3 days to let the scent fade, and use the trap without the attractant in the meantime.

Can I use the BG-Sweetscent for the BG-Mosquitaire and the BG-Home?

Yes. The artificial human skin scent BG-Sweetscent is suitable for the BG-Mosquitaire and the BG-Home. It is also suitable for mosquito traps from other manufacturers.

Really great attractant that exponentially increases the catch rate of mosquitoes. It’s a must have. I recommend subscribing for delivery every 6 months as it significantly lowers the cost.

Great products, They work! Customer service is excellent.

Amazing customer service and support. Better yet, the products really work. Enjoying my house mosquito (Culex pipiens) free Austin Texas yard again with the double C02 traps. Cheaper than spraying every 3 weeks over months.

Going outside at sunset was impossible, i would get eaten alive. Now i can go out without any repellent applied and hardly . Traps are swarming! I think it does a good job of keep them away and hovering around the traps as well. So even if kill rate varies, its a good honey pot for mosquitos out on the hunt.

A bit of an investment up front, but its well worth it. Just do it. And get the C02 setup, its much much more effective.
